Hands Down
I have a cautionary tale.
Last night, I was babysitting my little siblings. I decided pizza was the best way to feed them, and Pizza Hut was right up the street, so that was that. I was going to go with classic cheese, like any normal human being, until all three children started asking if we could put bacon on the pizza. Now, I love bacon. Crisp, blackened bacon is delicious atop any pizza. I obliged and in a short while was off to pick up the pie. I arrived home and dished out the slices, and took a bite. It wasn’t terrible, but I was just excited for the stuffed crust (which, if you follow pizza etiquette, you must eat last.) I took another bite and found the bacon…which was more like two inch thick slabs of pig fat. I literally spit it out. I ate the crust, and that was all. This morning, I woke up and got sick twice. Now, this could be a coincidence, but I’m just saying, don’t go chewing on any lard pieces or you’ll probably throw up.
Although my day didn’t start off so well, this is one of the best days I’ve had in awhile. I was in the zone at work and we had a lot of fun, and then had a meeting after work to announce some changes (new carrot smoothie comes out tomorrow…so there’s that.) Our meetings are always a blast because I love the people I work with, so it was a good end to the week.
Tomorrow after classes, I have an appointment to apply for my passport…this is the final puzzle piece, after tomorrow, it’s hoping time flies until March :)
I’m so happy.
