We’re under the same sky
I will be up all night studying for my history exam. I can’t wait for this class to be over.
After English, I walked to go get a sandwich before my all night study session. There was some dance music playing and a girl wished me a happy Love Your Body day. She handed me a blue marker and asked me to write on this big canvas that was stretched across the wall what I love about my body. I laughed at first, but then I wrote “my curves”…I was proud of myself, I figure you will be, too.
The maintenance people came to change the lock on our door today because I, not surprisingly, lost my keys. I had to walk aaaaaall the way to Residence Services, which is a good fifteen minute walk, to pick up my new set of keys. P.S, it’s been pouring all day. I grabbed my umbrella and my iPod, and went out the door. As soon as I walked outside, no lie, Kiss the Rain came on…I put my umbrella in my purse and walked without it. Call me strange, but it was beautiful.
